1.	Where can I file my application for NTC examination?
	Answer: Applications for examination may be filed at the following offices/addresses:
	a.	NTC Central Office NTC Building, BIR Road, East Triangle, Diliman, Quezon City Telephone Number - (02) 924-25-95
	b.	Any of the Regional Offices

2.	What is the schedule of NTC examination in Manila? How much is the examination fee?
	Answer: The NTC examination is scheduled every Wednesday, unless it is declared a holiday. The examination fee is PHP50.00.

3.	Where is the NTC examination conducted?
	Answer: The NTC examination is conducted at the NTC Office, BIR Road, East Triangle, Diliman, Quezon City, unless there is a new venue, which will be determined by the Radio Operator Examination Committee (ROEC). The new venue will be announced two (2) weeks earlier than the scheduled date of examination.

4.	What are the requirements for filing of NTC examination?
	Answer:
	4.1 GENERAL OPERATOR CERTIFICATE (GOC)
		a	Accomplished application form for examination
		b	Photo copy of training certificates on Radiotelephony; INMARSAT; and GMDSS (to present original)
		c	Two (2) pieces of 1" X 1" ID picture
		d	Two (2) pieces mailing envelopes with stamps
	4.2 RADIO ELECTRONIC CERTIFICATE (REC)
		a	Accomplished application form for examination
		b	Photo copy of training certificate on Radio Electronic Operator's Course (to present original)
		c	Authenticated copies of valid GOC and 1RTG licenses
		d	Two (2) pieces of 1" X 1" ID picture e. Two (2) pieces mailing envelopes with stamps

5.	Where can I file my Radio Operator Certificate?
	Answer: Applications for examination may be filed at the following offices/addresses:
	a.	NTC Central Office NTC Building, BIR Road, East Triangle, Diliman, Quezon City Telephone Number - (02) 924-25-95
	b.	PSOC First Floor POEA Building Corner EDSA, Ortigas, Mandaluyong City (For overseas seafarers only)
	c	Any of the Regional Offices

6.	What are the requirements for the processing of new or renewal Certificate of Competency (COC) for GOC; and Certificate of Competency and Endorsement (COC-E) for REC?
	Answer:
	A. NEW GOC
		a	Original copy of the result of rating of examination
		b	Accomplished application form; and information sheet duly notarized
		c	TThree (3) pieces of 1" X 1" ID picture; colored with white background
	B. RENEWAL OF GOC
		a	Original copy of the GOC certificate to be renewed
		b	Accomplished application form for renewal
		c	Three (3) pieces of 1" X 1" ID picture; colored with white background
		d	Certificate of Sea Service/Employment or Seaman's Book
	C. NEW COC-E
		a	Original copy of the result of rating of examination
		b	Accomplished application form
		c	Authenticated copy of valid 1RTG and GOC certificates
		d	Certificate of Employment
		e	Three (3) pieces of 1" X 1" ID picture, colored with white background
		f	Three (3) pieces documentary stamps
	D.RENEWAL OF COC-E
		a	Original copy of the REC certificate to be renewed
		b	Accomplished application form for renewal
		c	Authenticated copy of valid 1RTG and GOC certificates
		d	Certificate of Employment
		e	Three (3) pieces of 1" X 1" ID picture, colored with white background
		f	hree (3) pieces documentary stamps

7.	How much are the fees for the processing of COC for GOC and COC-E for REC?
	Answer: 7.1 COC for GOC - PHP 180.00 per year 7.2 COC-E for REC - PHP 380.00 per year Note: COC and COC-E shall be issued for a maximum period of five (5) years.

8.	When is the scheduled GOC examination?
	Answer: GOC examinations are held every Wednesday.

9.	What are the documents being issued by NTC for ships intended for international trade?
	Answer:
	a.	Safety Radio Certificate (SRC)
	b.	Ship Radio Station License (RSL)
	c	Ship Earth Station License (SES)
	d	Exemption Certificate (EC)

10.	How long will it take NTC to process above-mentioned licenses?
	Answer: Two (2) to Three (3) days.

11.	What are the requirements for the issuance of New Radio Station License (RSL) on board vessel engaged in the international trade?
	Answer:
	a.	Application for Permit to Purchase/Possess;
	b.	pplication for New radio Station License;
	c	Authenticated copy of latest issued Temporary Permit;
	d	NTC Survey Report Form properly accomplished by NTC authorized Classification society and properly signed by any authorized representative of the Philippine Consulate at place of survey or by the Master of the vessel countersigned by the President/Manager of the Company
	e	Authenticated copy of the Certificate of Philippine Registry;
	f	Accounting Authority Service Contract entered into by despondent Owner and SGV and Company;
	g	Authenticated copy of valid Radio Operator's Certificate;
	h	Certificate of Employment//Service Contract of Radio Officer of Crew list of officers of vessels.
